An Office Ergonomic Assessment is done to ensure that employees working at a computer are set-up correctly to minimize or prevent discomfort. Ultimately, proper workstation set-up will also create a more efficient work flow and maximize productivity.
During the assessment each employee receives an individualized report that can be used for future reference. We will advise if the end user requires additional or new office equipment to facilitate the appropriate Ergonomics set-up.
Office Ergonomics is more about making people aware of their habits and providing information to allow them to decide which measures are best for them to work safely.The Ergonomic Consultant and the employee will work together to achieve the optimal working set-up by discussing existing set-up concerns, current discomfort levels and workstation usage needs. The employee will receive one-on-one education about the optimal way to set-up their computer workstation. Artisan Health-care will send a full report following the assessment which identifies all adjustments made while onsite and provides detailed recommendations for any further equipment or accessories that may be needed.
